******************************************************************************************************************** April 25, 2009 My two boys have been attending Discovery Center since June of 08, -- My older son in the Rainbow Room, and my younger son in the Nugget room. Lisa and Marilyn (along with the entire Discovery Center staff) have always been more than accommodating to my children's needs as well as my own, even with regards to my older son's split schedule. They welcomed our family into the center from the beginning and really made it feel like a home away from home for my children. The teachers really have a love of learning and do a great job implementing a developmentally appropriate ( and really fun) curriculum for all the children in the program. Now, my boys come home from school a little bit brighter every time they attend. :) Thanks Discovery Center! --Mary C.

Our daughter Haley has been attending Discovery Center Preschool since
Sept. 2008 and we are so happy that she has done so well. This was our
first day-care experience and I wasn't sure how it would go, but we came
in and they showed us around and its just a nice place and the teachers
were so nice. Haley has loved going and it just made the transitions from
being watched by Grandma to a day-care setting such a great experience. We
couldn't be happier with the program, our daughter loves to go each day
and at night never wants to leave. I'm happy to see that she likes her
teachers Miss Amanda and Miss Rebecca and all the others teachers that
take such good care of her each day. We would recommend Discovery Center
Preschool to any new parents looking for a new place to bring there child
or children to.

Dear Lisa and Marilyn,
Our daughter Rebecca has attended the Discovery Center Preschool since the fall of 2004 and we are ecstatic with how well she has done there. Sonny Bouchard, Rebecca's teacher for the past two years,has been an important catalyst for her. Rebecca is well-prepared for when she starts kindergarten and furthermore now has a love of learning. We attribute this to the curriculum along with Sonny's teaching skill and encouragement. The school follows state guidelines for pre-school education and this is important to us. But more importantly, Rebecca has always felt safe and loved in the school's warm and nurturing environment. This is an important reason why she has thrived at the Discovery Center. As parents, we have always felt welcomed at the Discovery Center and staff there embrace parents's involvement in the school. The school places an emphasis on the children's safety and we have never worried about Rebecca's well-being while she was there. Because of all this, we would recommend the Discovery Center Preschool to any parent.

I have watched my daughter grow in a loving and caring environment with a balance of discipline. I could not be more pleased with the care that she gets at Discovery Center. She is learning new things each day. She has learned to count in Spanish and is learning French. This is really laying the foundation for her future. It is nice to see her excited about learning and going to Discovery Center each day. It makes leaving her every morning a little easier knowing that she is happy there.

My children have attended all of the classrooms at Discovery Center, and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff has always provided a caring, safe, and welcoming environment for them. They look forward to going to "school" each day, and always have fun stories to share at the end. I have been very pleased with the variety of multi-sensory activities that the children are exposed to. Age-appropriate skills are introduced to them in fun and exciting ways. This helps to prepare them for kindergarten and the years to come. Thank you to all of the teachers for your continuous efforts and hard work!
